Prayer and Evangelism

Prayer is necessary for the strong holds of Satan to be cast down and for saving lost people.  Prayer is necessary for a Christian to remain strong in the Lord and prayer in necessary to any person who wants to be spiritual.  What is so powerful is that God has given us power and authority to pull down strong holds and to bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

Prayer can also bring people back to God!  When praying for people who do not know Jesus or in most cases, need to come back to God, God gives us power through His word to pray for these things:

1. That God will draw them to Himself...John 6:44

2. That they seek to know God...Acts 17:27

3. That they believe the Word of God...1 Thessalonians 2:13

4. That Satan is bound from blinding them to the truth and his influences in their life be cast down...2 Corinthians 4:4; 10:4-5

5. That the Holy Spirit works with them...John 16:8-13 

6. That they turn from sin...Acts 3:19

7. That they believe in Christ as Savior...John 1:12

8. That they obey Christ as Lord...Matthew 7:21

9. That they take root and grow in Christ...Colossians 2:6,7
